The Crownbreaker Wars officialy begain 80 years ago when the God-King Sah’un and his armies poured through the Waygate and demanded that all nations bow before his might. The nations of Ebbe banded together and marched on the Waygate and the great city-state that had quickly sprouted up around it. Led by Olaf Idunna of the Kingdom of Aggoras and Shif Al’Shaier of the elven nation of Tal’Sharra. Joining them were the armies of Kaldr, Kagemusha, and Vayonne. The siege of the Waygate lasted 20 years and was only ended when Shif Al’Shaier herself managed to sidestep beyond the barriers set up by Sah’un, with the help of the last remaining d’jinni. She destroyed the Waygate and thus ended the ability of Sa’hun to resupply his vast armies and bring in reinforcements. The siege ended quickly and Sa’hun was detroyed, but at the cost of Shif’s life. In the aftermath the High Council of Wizards made a decision that would forever shape the flow of history to come. They weaved their most powerful magic and destroyed the gathered armies of the world and at the same time brought the great nations to ruin. They then retreated into the Arranth Wastes never to be seen again.
